Getting verified

Anyone can join Motion Network, post their work, and use their profile as a portfolio to send to clients. Verification is the extra step that puts your work on the main Feed - the front page of the site, where everyone browses.

Why we verify

The Feed is the front door, and we want it to stay worth opening. Verifying the work that appears there is how we keep it at a consistently high standard.

It is not reserved for only the most established or experienced motion designers - some of the best work on here comes from people early in their careers, and that's exactly who we want to lift up. But we do hold a quality bar, so the Feed stays something members are proud to be part of and something visitors keep coming back to.

How it works

Verification is done by hand, by a person - not an algorithm. We review applications together in a batch, roughly once a month. Because it's a careful, manual process, it takes time.

So once you've applied, there's nothing more you need to do. The best thing is to keep posting to your profile and be patient - we'll email you the moment your application has been looked at.

If it's a yes - or a not yet

When you're approved, your work starts appearing on the Feed and your profile carries the verified mark. If it's not your round this time, you're welcome to keep building your profile and apply again - a "not yet" isn't a "never".
